The Jazz Coasters are a fixture of the Cincinnati swing dance scene — a live band that plays for dancers, at dancer tempos, with the drive that makes a social night unforgettable.
We play regularly for the region’s swing communities, including CincyHop, SwinGallery, the Cincinnati Lindy Society, Gem City Swing in Dayton, the Miami Oxford Swing Syndicate, and the Central Ohio Hot Jazz Society — and we opened for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at Memorial Hall.
Lindy hop, balboa, West Coast swing, blues — we build sets around the dances in the room, mixing swing standards, hot jazz, and New Orleans favorites at tempos that keep every level of dancer on the floor.
